The Carolyn Ferrari 50+ group (named after the woman who started it; sadly she died a few years ago) has members in Cambs, Herts, Beds, Bucks, Northants, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and north London; some are also members of Women’s Link, some are members of Sister Act (based in Cambridge), some are members of Kenric (a national organization), some are members of groups based in Norwich, Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, and some belong to no other group. We try to have at least two events a month, a lunch-time or afternoon event usually on the third Saturday or Sunday, and a weekday lunch for those who have retired or do not work full time. There is no subscription. The 50+ group is run on a totally voluntary basis, and when and where activities take place depend on the member(s) prepared to organize them.
