Wandering Women is a small group of friendly gay women, taking fortnightly walks in the lovely Hertfordshire countryside and occasionally beyond into Cambridgshire and Bedfordshire. Every walk has a different leader and this means we get to see all pockets of countryside.
They are country walks and the pace is relaxed. The walks are on Sunday mornings and average 5 miles with breaks for refreshments and to have our packed lunch.
Walks ALWAYS end with a well deserved drink in the nearest pub!
It’s a very healthy and relaxed way to meet some ‘like minded’ people and new walkers are always warmly welcomed.

Sunday 19th May
For the Walk on Sunday 19th May we’ll meet at 10.15am at The Cricketers (park behind the pub) at Damask Green, Weston. SG4 7DA. We’ll walk to Warrens Green, Hall’s Green, Luffenhall Common, then downhill on the woodland lane back to Weston.
For an alternative, less familiar route, we could choose to walk to Gravely and return past Ten Acre Plantation, Chesfield Park, Manor Farm, to Damask Green and the pub.
Both walks are approximately 5.5 miles.
